Jeffries East Becomes Cornerstone Estates

The low-rise Jefferies East housing project was torn down in 2008.  Work proceeds on the site today as it continues its transformation into Cornerstone Estates, a 180-unit mixed-income affordable housing rental development.

Jefferies Projects Now Being Demolished

The 300 unit Jefferies Housing Projects at MLK and the Lodge are coming down. When the demolition work is complete the site will be redeveloped into homes and townhouses as public and affordable housing. It looks like this site can be taken out of consideration for a new Red Wings Arena.
