Despite holding a ribbon cutting ceremony almost three weeks ago. William G. Milliken State Park (formerly Tricentennial State Park) remains closed to the public.
Does anyone have any clue on exactly when the State Park will open? Next Spring? I want to go down for the festivities, since I went down for the Dequindre Cut opening and had a great time.

Just to be clear: The ribbon cutting ceremony was for the renaming of the state park, not its opening.

sometime soon. Heard the date of Dec. 1st as a goal.
