i remember around the era of 2003, i was working in the neighborhood of brush park, and noticed an ederly gentleman leaving the premises here. i asked him what type of building he was vacating. he responded that this was his residency, and that the city was forcing him to move. what did the city do for this ederly gentleman to relocate him to an area that was safe and not decaying into the soil? i remember when the yale was an occupied dwelling by many, and that was only within a decade. people of detroit stand up and preserve some of your history.
